About this file
This is a Davis-Bacon Act Wage Determination document (General Decision Number WV20260024) applicable to building construction work in Randolph County, West Virginia. The determination was last revised on May 18, 2026 (Modification 1), with the initial version published on January 2, 2026 (Modification 0).
The document establishes prevailing wage rates for various construction trades and labor classifications required on Davis-Bacon Act covered federal construction projects in the specified county. Classifications include skilled trades such as asbestos workers, boilermakers, bricklayers, carpenters (with multiple specializations including scaffold builders, floor laying, drywall hanging, and form work), cement masons, electricians, glaziers, ironworkers (ornamental and reinforcing), millwrights, painters, plasterers, plumbers, roofers, sheet metal workers, and truck drivers. Labor classifications span multiple groups including equipment operators (cranes, backhoes, excavators, bulldozers, forklifts, and bobcats), concrete workers, demolition workers, scaffold builders, and various tender positions. Wage rates are identified by rate identifiers indicating whether they are union rates (identified by prefixes such as PLUM, CARP, IRON, LABO, PAIN, PLAS, SUWV, and UAVG), survey rates (SU prefix), or state-adopted rates (SA prefix), each with effective dates ranging from 2012 through 2025. The determination also notes that Executive Order 13706 regarding paid sick leave and Executive Order 13658 regarding minimum wage rates apply to applicable federal contracts. Unlisted classifications needed for work not included in the listed scope may be added at contract award only through the labor standards contract process.
