About this file

This Statement of Work (SOW) details a supply purchase for a replacement sump pump for the Hoover Dam Outlet Works under Request for Quote (RFQ) 140R3026Q0012. The government requires one 12MB single stage vertical turbine pump assembly with specific technical specifications, including a 20 HP motor, 230/460 V, 3 phase, 60 Hz, 1800 RPM, with an 8" discharge pipe. The pump must have a flow rate of 1000 GPM, 56 ft head, and be compatible with the existing Peerless Pump (S/N 239112) to ensure maintenance ease.

The contractor must deliver the complete pump assembly and one set of spare parts to the Hoover Dam central Warehouse within 10 months of contract award. Prior to shipment, the contractor must submit multiple documents for review and approval, including pump arrangement drawings, performance curves, motor datasheets, and coating material specifications. Additional required documentation includes operation and maintenance manuals, parts lists, and a motor wiring diagram. The pump will be installed by government personnel and must include detailed nameplates with technical and manufacturer information for both the pump and motor.
