Tree and debris removal work includes clearing and disposing of logs, brush, and rubbish from the primary spillway riser inlets, lake shoreline, and dam crest, with particular attention to removing wood debris from the spillway riser without causing structural damage. At Frank's Tract specifically, all tree and woody debris must be removed from the primary spillway along with roots and debris blocking the pipe, and the contractor shall machine place a minimum of 15 tons of Illinois Riprap Class 3 around the primary spillway to reduce future vegetation growth. All cleared and grubbed materials become the contractor's property and must be disposed of off Forest Service lands, with the contractor assuming full responsibility for compliance with local regulations and payment of all associated disposal fees. At project completion, the contractor shall remove all litter from the site.
