The Government is procuring tree shelter products and related materials for Phase 1 of the Dude restoration project. The solicitation requires four line items: (1) 100,000 high UV-protected, white cone-shaped tree shelters that are 18 inches tall with a tapered conical shape, constructed as one solid polymer piece with UV stabilizers and three attached metal stakes for ground securing; (2) 100,000 rigid seedling protector tubes that are tubular with diamond pattern mesh, white/yellow in color, 5 inches in diameter (±0.5"), and 36 inches tall (±2"); (3) 100,000 round bamboo stakes between 1/2 and 5/8 inches in diameter and 4 feet tall (±2") designed to be woven through the diamond mesh of the protector tubes, with materials that must be biodegradable; and (4) shipping services. Shipments are split between two locations, with 50,000 units delivered to each location. The Government reserves the right to make multiple awards for different line items if such awards result in better value to the Government, with an assumed administrative cost of $500 per purchase order. Additional specific product requirements and delivery locations are detailed in Attachment 2, the Salient Characteristics document.
