rugged terrain in the Wildland Urban Interface.

This work includes the development of logging plans, construction and closure of landing areas, preparation and removal of damaged timber and small roundwood material via helicopter, road maintenance and hauling of forest products. Upon completion, landing restoration will be needed.

See Appendix A for Performance Work Statements, Appendix B for timber removal specifications and

Appendix C for Road Maintenance specifications.

If funding dictates and it is in the best interest of the government, work items may be awarded by Unit/Acre and for amounts less than the total acreage estimates based on the unit prices quoted. Unit prices prevail.

A site visit is scheduled for June 22, 2026 to provide interested vendors an opportunity to meet with project planners and to visit parts of the project area to familiarize themselves with the requirements. The meeting location is at the

Appalachian Ranger District, 632 Manor Drive, Mars Hill, NC. 28754.

All work is to be performed pursuant to the requirements in the appendices.
