About this file

This is a contract administration and requirements section for a bridge construction project with a completion deadline of July 31, 2027. The contractor must commence work within ten (10) calendar days of receiving the notice to proceed and prosecute the work diligently through final completion, including final cleanup of the premises.

The contract establishes specific inspection and acceptance procedures, requiring contractors to submit written requests for final inspection to the Contracting Officer's Representative at least seven (7) days prior to the desired inspection date. The government retains the discretion to conduct pre-final inspections, with any noted discrepancies to be corrected before final inspection. A mandatory post-award conference will be held remotely via MS Teams within 15 days of contract award. Construction activity is limited to 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., seven days per week, unless other hours are approved in writing by the Contracting Officer. The contractor may utilize Forest Service roadways and adjacent lands for temporary material stockpiling as approved by the Contracting Officer, though other stockpiling locations must be coordinated with respective landowners. Industrial camps must be located in the vicinity of bridge sites without impeding access, and the contractor is required to obtain camping permits from the Middle Fork Ranger District due to the extended duration of stay at each site. Stockpiling and staging activities must not impede trails or roads.
