About this file
This document is Addendum No. 3 issued by the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District for a landscaping services contract, Bid #C006467, for a parcel of property located on World Dr. south of 192. The addendum revises the ITB and Bid Submittal Affidavit, and provides responses to questions. Key changes include no longer requiring a Plumbing Contractor and/or Specialty Contractor License, but requiring a Certified Irrigation Technician (CIT) certificate. Subcontractor certifications for arborist and commercial applicator licenses are also now acceptable. The addendum also notes that the frequency for Bahia turf edging does not match the mowing cycle, and the District will discuss the schedule with the awarded contractor.
The contract is for comprehensive landscaping services including turf, shrubs, trees, slopes, ponds, and ditches. Bidders must maintain a healthy, vigorous appearance for all plantings. The contract opportunity covers jurisdictions in Orange County and Lakeland City, Florida.

2. EXHIBIT D – Bid Submittal Affidavit (REVISED 11.16.23)
PART A. QUESTIONS/RESPONSES
NOTE – Updated in Section 5. Qualification of Bidders:
Plumbing Contractor and/or Specialty Contractor License is no longer required. However; at a minimum, the contractor or subcontractor shall have a Certified Irrigation Technician (CIT) certificate. Experience only is fine for technicians.
Question 1: Do we need an arborist certification to be able to bid or can we sub that out?
Response 1: The District can accept a subcontractor’s certification for the following:
• Plumbing Contractor and/or Specialty Contractor License Certified Irrigation Technician (CIT) Certification for irrigation systems
• International Society of Arboriculture Certifications
• Commercial Applicator License from the Florida Department of Agriculture and
Consumer Services
Question 2: I was looking at the new price sheet and noticed that number 6 should be 39 visits, and not 26, correct?
Response 2: Line 6’s frequencies of (26) for Bahia turf edging does not match the frequency for the Bahia mowing cycle of (39). The District will explain that schedule with the awarded contractor.
