About this file
This document is Addendum No. 2 issued by the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District for the Rapid Infiltration Basins (RIBS) Renovation project under Bid #C006430. The project involves the rehabilitation of deteriorated RIBS over a three-year period, consisting of removal and disposal of existing liners and installation of new 60 mil HDPE liners, earthwork and grading, and concrete work as needed. The work is divided into three fiscal years, with specific RIB cells to be rehabilitated each year. The addendum addresses a question regarding the reuse of existing batten bars, indicating that the existing bars will be reused where possible.
The related state and local contract opportunity involves the same RIBS Rehabilitation Project, covering the rehabilitation of 12 RIB cells across Orange County and Lakeland City in the state of Florida over the three-year period from fiscal year 2024 to 2026. The work includes excavation, backfilling, and sodding in addition to the liner and concrete work.
