AUGUST 15, 2025

Dear Vendor:

Please review 15B11325Q00000013 for bread required by the Federal Correctional Institution, Morgantown, West Virginia, for the period of OCTOBER 6, 2025 through DECEMBER 29, 2025.

In submitting quotes, quoters should consider all information provided herein. Please carefully follow all the instructions located in the solicitation package concerning the content, format, and submission of quotes.

All potential quoters are advised that the solicitation includes the clause FAR 52.212-4 for Commercial Items, which at paragraph (t) requires all contractors doing business with the Federal Government to be registered in SAM.GOV. Quoters should include their Data Universal Number System (DUNS) number in their offers. The Contracting Officer will verify registration in SAM.GOV prior to the award by entering the potential awardee’s DUNS number into SAM.GOV. Failure to complete the registration procedures outlined in this clause may result in elimination from consideration for award.

Quotes shall be received on or before AUGUST 22, at 4:00 P.M., Eastern Standard Time. Quotes MUST be submitted via e-mail ONLY to bkeifer@bop.gov

Quotes faxed, mailed through USPS, FEDEX, or any other physical type of mail WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. Only electronic forms by e-mail will be accepted.

Recent delivery problems have occurred for some companies that have affected past performance. As such, awards have not been made to those companies based on past performance. The FCI will continue such procedures, as inability to deliver products impacts menu planning and preparation of meals, as well as increasing prices for additional procurement.

If you have any questions, contact me at (304) 284-4318 or bkiefer@bop.gov.

Sincerely, Ben Keifer, Property and Procurement Specialist image1.png
