The total contract value across all three locations (Boca Ciega, East Lake, and Palm Harbor University High Schools) is approximately $1,680,000, with each location including a separate $50,000 contingency line item with no contractor markup reserved for unforeseen circumstances. Awards will be made on an all-or-none basis by location to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. All work must comply with Florida Building Code State Requirements for Educational Facilities (SREF), NFPA Standards, UL Standards, the National Electric Code (NFPA 70), EIA/TIA Standards, and OSHA Standards, with materials and equipment required to carry manufacturers' standard warranties and all work warranted free from defects for not less than one year from final completion. Liquidated damages of $1,000 per calendar day will be assessed for failure to achieve substantial completion within the specified timeframe. No designated set-aside restrictions for disadvantaged enterprises or minority-owned businesses are noted in this solicitation. Bidders must submit bid security and proof of insurance meeting specific requirements, including General Liability Insurance with minimum limits of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 general aggregate.
