RQ009: INSPECTION AND ACCEPTANCE AT ORIGIN
RP001: DLA PACKAGING REQUIREMENTS FOR PROCUREMENT
RA001: THIS DOCUMENT INCORPORATES TECHNICAL AND/OR QUALITY REQUIREMENTS (IDENTIFIED BY AN 'R' OR AN 'I' NUMBER) SET FORTH IN FULL TEXT IN THE DLA MASTER LIST OF TECHNICAL AND QUALITY REQUIREMENTS FOUND ON THE WEB AT:

FOR SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITIONS, THE REVISION OF THE MASTER IN EFFECT ON THE SOLICITATION ISSUE DATE OR THE AWARD DATE CONTROLS. FOR LARGE ACQUISITIONS, THE REVISION OF THE MASTER IN EFFECT ON THE RFP ISSUE DATE APPLIES UNLESS A SOLICITATION AMENDMENT INCORPORATES A FOLLOW-ON REVISION, IN WHICH CASE THE AMENDMENT DATE CONTROLS.

1. The following technical data is provided for inclusion to the subject specification to maintain the Marine Corps requirements. These changes are effective immediately on current and future procurements until such time as the document is amended or revised.
a. DELETE: Paragraph 2.1 CLASSIFICATION. The slacks shall be of one type in the following sizes:

REPLACE: Paragraph 2.1 CLASSIFICATION. The slacks shall be one type in the following classes:
Class 1: Green 2243 Class 2: Sky Blue 2319

b. DELETE: Paragraph 3.3.1 Basic Material. The basic material 11 for the slacks shall be a serge, woven with a singles yarn blended of a maximum of 83 percent polyester and a minimum of 17 percent wool fiber (62's U.S. standard of finer), and woven with a 100 percent continuous filament texturized polyester yarn into an end to end, and pick and pick arrangement in both the warp and filling. The weave shall be a 2 up 2 down, right hand twill. The cloth shall be scoured, brushed, sheared, pressed and decated. The cloth shall weigh 10.5-11.0 ounces per linear yard based on a 56 inch width cloth when testing according to ASTM D 2776 Option C after conditioning as directed in ASTM 1775 with a minimum of 65 ends and 55 picks per inch.
The minimum breaking strength shall be 160 pounds of warp and

The cloth shall weight 6.5 to 8.0 oz/sq yd. when tested according to test method ASTM D 3776 Option C and have a minimum of 30 wales per inch and 35 ounces per inch when test according to test method ASTM D 3887. Samples shall be conditioned as directed in ASTM D 1776.
REPLACE: Paragraph 3.3.2 Knitted cloth. The cloth for the front stretch panel shall be interlock knit, tubular, stretch type, nylon cloth, and the color shall be class 1 or class 2 as specified. The cloth shall weight 6.5 to 8.0 oz/sq yd. when tested according to test method ASTM D 3776 Option C and have a minimum of 30 wales per inch and 35 ounces per inch when test according to test method ASTM D 3887. THERE SHALL BE A 12 DIGIT UNIVERSAL PRODUCT CODE (UPC) ASSIGNED FOR ALL NSNS BY THE GOVERNMENT THE INITIALS "UPC" MUST APPEAR BENEATH THE CODE. THE BAR CODES FOR NSN AND UPC SHALL BE A MEDIUM TO HIGH DENSITY AND SHALL BE LOCATED SO THAT THEY ARE COMPLETELY VISIBLE ON THE ITEM WHEN IT IS FOLDED AND OR PACKAGED
AS SPECIFIED. THE LABEL'S LOCATION SHALL CAUSE NO DAMAGE TO THE ITEM."
