About this file
This document is Addendum #3 for BL173-23, a contract opportunity for the construction and/or replacement of concrete curbs, gutters, basin lids, and sidewalks on an annual contract basis. The addendum revises the Performance and Payment Bonds requirement, reducing the bond amount from up to $2 million to up to $300,000 per awarded contractor. The clarification notes that the total bond amounts will need to add up to the anticipated amount to be spent for the entire contract term, as multiple contractors may be awarded.
The addendum also specifies that public works law requires 100% payment and performance bonds, and that the bond amount for an individual awarded contractor will not exceed $300,000. Bidders are required to acknowledge this addendum in the space provided on the Bid Schedule, as failure to do so may result in their bid being deemed non-responsive.
