About this file
This is Addendum #3 to the Duncan Creek Synthetic Turf Replacement bid (BL106-21) issued by Gwinnett County, Georgia on October 22, 2021, providing clarifications and answers to contractor questions regarding the project specifications and requirements.
The addendum addresses seven key questions related to project specifications and deliverables. Notable clarifications include: Sheet C-302 from the drawing set has been eliminated and should be disregarded; the existing field is a FieldTurf product with 100% rubber infill that contractors must field verify; mockups for stone swale assembly, seat wall, and entry/plaza concrete are not required and should be disregarded; all turf specifications including face weight, GMAX testing requirements, and field markings shall follow specifications section 32 97 20; and permeability testing may be performed by a licensed third-party testing agency rather than exclusively by a licensed geotechnical engineer. These clarifications direct contractors to the master specifications section for definitive guidance on technical requirements and testing protocols to resolve apparent discrepancies in the bidding documents.
