About this file
This is Addendum #2 to a competitive sealed bid solicitation issued by Gwinnett County, Georgia for pavilion roof replacements at Jones Bridge Park and George Pierce Park (BL098-25). The project involves replacing roofing systems at two locations, with specific material requirements including 24 U.S. standard gauge metal panels, 40 mil ice and water shield underlayment, and painted decking and fascia boards to match existing conditions. The bid schedule requires unit pricing for 20 each of 7/16" x 4'x8' decking boards at Jones Bridge Park and 80 linear feet of fascia board at George Pierce Park, with these unit price totals incorporated into the respective base bid prices. Bidders must acknowledge receipt of all addenda and submit completed bid documents with the revised bid schedule and unit price schedule by the specified deadline. The anticipated project completion date is November 1, 2025, with the park available for public contractor viewing.
The addendum clarifies that Gwinnett County staff will repair support posts, no ridge vents are required, and substitutions for specified products require submission of product specification sheets for consideration. Bidders must state the number of days needed to begin work after award and the number of days required to complete work. The county uses electronic payment for remittance and requires contractors to comply with O.C.G.A. 13-10-91 and Rule 300-10-1-.02 as conditions of contract. Failure to return the addendum acknowledgment and revised bid schedule pages may result in bid rejection. Actual quantities of unit price items may vary, with payment based on in-place quantities verified by the county site representative and adjusted via change order if necessary.
