About this file

This is Addendum #1 to solicitation BL076-23 issued by Gwinnett County, Georgia for the purchase of shelf stable weekend packs on an annual contract basis. The addendum provides clarification on specifications for the weekend packs, which must comply with Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) guidelines. Each weekend pack shall contain six individually wrapped meals consisting of two breakfasts and four lunch/dinner meals packaged within a single bag or box. The County requires approximately 7,070 weekend packs annually. The bid schedule has been revised to reflect pricing on a per-weekend-pack basis rather than per-meal basis. All delivery and associated costs must be included in the unit price. Formal bid submissions must be received no later than 2:50 p.m. on the specified due date, and Gwinnett County does not accept electronic submittals for formal solicitations. The contract will begin upon award with pricing remaining firm for the initial contract term, followed by four optional one-year renewal periods at the County's discretion.

Bidders must acknowledge receipt of this addendum by returning the revised bid schedule pages with their submission, and failure to do so may result in the bid being deemed non-responsive. Gwinnett County requires that pricing remain firm for the duration of the initial contract term, and any percentage increases or decreases for renewal options must be clearly noted with explanation. The County utilizes electronic payments for remittance and reserves the right to terminate the contract for cause with ten days' written notice or for convenience with thirty days' written notice. Bidders currently on the Gwinnett County ineligible source list are prohibited from submitting offers, and all vendors must provide their legal business name, address, authorized representative contact information, and confirmation of whether they have a current location within Gwinnett County.
