About this file
This is Addendum #2 to bid BL011-25 issued by Gwinnett County Department of Financial Services Purchasing Division for the Provision of Instrumentation Calibration, Maintenance, Repair and Replacement on a Multi-Year Contract. The addendum provides answers to six questions from potential bidders, clarifying that there will not be any site walk-downs prior to bid submission, a Georgia General Contractor's license is not required, work can be performed at any site listed in Appendix A, and the Site IDs in Appendix B are internal references that don't necessarily correlate to locations in Appendix A.
The addendum specifies that travel time charges are limited to a maximum of two hours per visit, including travel between Department of Water Resources facilities. It also clarifies that while one bidder's field office is located 145 miles away in Pell City, AL, having a location within Gwinnett County is not a requirement for this contract. The document must be signed and returned with the quote to be considered responsive.

ADDENDUM #2
BL011-25
Provision of Instrumentation Calibration, Maintenance, Repair and Replacement on a Multi-Year Contract
I. Questions:
Q1. Will there be an opportunity to walk-down any of the sites where maintenance will be required prior to the submission of our bid?
A1. No, there will not be an opportunity to walk-down any of the sites before the bid submittal deadline.
Q2. Is it a requirement of this bid to have a Georgia General Contractor’s license?
A2. No. it is not a requirement to have a Georgia General Contractor's license to submit a bid.
Q3. Per PAGE 2, Appendix A lists all Gwinnett County Department of Water Resources sites. Is it correct to assume that work could be performed at any of the sites listed?
A3. Yes, that is correct.
Q4. Per PAGE 7, Appendix B is an Itemized Instrumentation List. Within Appendix B, there is a SITE ID. Do each of the SITE IDs correlate to a location in Appendix A? (in an attempt to correlate the SITE IDs in Appendix B to the locations listed in Appendix A and there was some struggle with certain SITE IDs. For example, SITE ID “LFP” did not seem to easily correlate to a location in Appendix A).
A4. The site ID in Appendix B does not neccesairly relate to the locations listed in Appendix A. The Appendix B Site ID is an internal reference. The purpose of Appendix B is to provide a general idea of the type of instrumentation that may need services under this contract.
Q5. Per PAGE 5, Section 1.7.C, it is understood that travel time may be included in the labor hours. Is here any additional clarification on the amount of travel time that is acceptable.
A5. There should not be more than two hours charged for travel time per visit. This includes time to travel between
Department of Water Resources facilties.
Q6. Per PAGE 9, there is question asking if “Does your company currently have a location within Gwinnett
County?”. Our field office is located in Pell City, AL, which is approximately 145 miles from Gwinnett County. Is having a location within Gwinnett County a requirement for this bid?
A6. No, it is not a requirement for the awarded contractor to have a office in Gwinnett County. This question is for internal purposes only.
This addendum should be signed in the space provided below and returned with your quote. Failure to do so may result in your quote being deemed non-responsive.
Thank you, Brittany Bryant, CPPB Purchasing Associate III
