About this file

This document is a bid sheet for a state contract opportunity issued by the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet Department of Highways for janitorial and grounds maintenance services at the Interstate Welcome Center and Rest Area facilities on I-64 in Carter County. The contract requires the successful vendor to provide labor, equipment, materials, and supplies to perform custodial and other grounds maintenance services for a one-year term, with an average daily vehicle traffic count of 1,400. The contract also includes an option for the Department to request supplemental temporary staffing services as needed to address increased travel demands.

The bid sheet requires vendors to submit their company and representative information, as well as their experience and months in business, prior to submitting their pricing in a separate Phase II bid. The bid sheet does not specify any set-aside requirements, incumbent contractor information, or funding sources, but it does outline the Department's right to approve any additional staffing beyond the minimum level determined in the contract.
