About this file
The document is a Bid Scope Materials List for a home rehabilitation project in Escambia County, Florida, specifically for a property located at 1807 N W St. The scope details a comprehensive residential renovation covering multiple home systems and components, including kitchen appliances (GE range, cooktop, microwave, refrigerator), kitchen fixtures (aluminum sink, Delta faucet), bathroom fixtures (American Standard toilet, Delta faucets, Sterling tub surround), flooring (Shaw LVP and carpet), lighting fixtures, roofing (CertainTeed), gutters, windows, and HVAC systems. The project is managed by the Neighborhood Enterprise Division (NED) and is open to licensed, insured general contractors in good standing with the county.
The bid specifications include specific product requirements and installation guidelines, such as using new braided supply lines for plumbing, proper finishing techniques for drywall and trim, and mandatory use of EnergyStar approved electrical appliances with LED bulbs. Contractors are required to submit bids through OPENGOV, with new contractors needing to provide a letter of insurability. The county reserves the right to award line items separately, with potential focus on emergency services like roofing and septic/sewer repairs. Contractors must protect homeowner property, move furniture as needed, and are obligated to use products of like, similar, or equal value. The primary contact for the project is Scott Sanchez at 850-595-0827.
