About this file
This document describes the bid process for contractors in the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) Interpretation and Translation Pool to submit electronic bids for interpretation and translation services. The DHHS seeks to prequalify a pool of contractors able to provide these services for DHHS program clients and/or providers. The bid process includes viewing the Bid Opportunities Board, clicking the "Apply" button, completing required fields such as name, email, phone, hourly rate, and any special requirements, and submitting the bid. DHHS staff will evaluate bids based on meeting minimum requirements and then selecting the lowest hourly rate. Awarded contractors will be contacted via DocuSign, telephone, or email, and a Log of Interpretation Jobs will be provided on the DHHS website to indicate awarded contractors.
The hourly rate provided by contractors must be inclusive of all costs, including travel. DHHS does not provide any details regarding set-asides, incumbents, funding requirements, or contract term and renewal options in this document.
