About this file

This is a bid pricing document for the City of Gainesville, Florida, soliciting responses for Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) and Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC) parts and cleaning services for the Regional Transit System (RTS) and City Fleet Management on an as-needed basis. The solicitation comprises two lots: Lot 1 covers DPF and DOC cleaning services with four service line items (DPF Air Knife Cleaning, DPF Kiln Cleaning, DOC Filter Air Knife Cleaning, and DOC Filter Kiln Cleaning for specified Cummins part numbers), and Lot 2 includes fourteen replacement parts with specific manufacturer part numbers for various filter and sensor components. The contract period runs for one year from October 1, 2026, through September 30, 2027. Bidders must provide flat-rate pricing that remains firm throughout the contract term and must submit estimated turnaround times for Lot 1 services and estimated delivery times for Lot 2 parts.

Bidders are required to provide cost per unit pricing for each item, with the city calculating extended costs based on annual usage estimates. Award will be made separately to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder for each lot, with points assigned based on cost per unit pricing relative to other bids received. Bidders may optionally provide warranty information indicating whether coverage is provided by the bidder or manufacturer, including warranty term and specific coverage details. The document explicitly directs bidders to submit bids on only the requested items and notes that any alternate options or costs must be submitted prior to the question submittal deadline. No information regarding set-asides, incumbent contractors, funding sources, or specific contract values is provided in this pricing document.
