About this file

This document is a bid and schedule of work and prices for the Taxiway S (East) Reconstruction Project at the Ontario International Airport (OIAA). The project involves furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and incidentals to complete the reconstruction work. The bid timeline includes two potential schedules: one with a 70-day installation base bid and another with a 110-day installation base bid, both preceded by 170 days of mobilization and followed by 20 days of close-out. The bid will remain valid for 180 calendar days after the bid opening, and the bidder must be prepared to execute the contract and necessary bonds within 15 days of award.

The bid emphasizes that the quantities listed in the Schedule of Work and Prices are approximate and will be used for comparing bids. The lowest Base Bid will be the basis for determining the lowest responsible bidder for contract award. Bidders are required to submit a price for each item in the attached Schedule of Work and Prices, with the understanding that in case of discrepancies, the unit price will govern and corrections will be made accordingly. The bidder must also provide their contractor's license information and acknowledge any addenda to the bid document.
