About this file

This is a bid form for the City of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, for the North Hangar One Construction project (ITB-35-2026). The project encompasses the construction of a 150'x100' corporate hangar with a 30'x100' office building, including site utilities, drainage systems, and paving. The scope of work comprises 36 base bid line items and two additive alternates, covering utility coordination, fire hydrant installation and relocation, catch basin and sanitary sewer adjustments, oil-water separators, water piping, aggregate base courses, bituminous and concrete pavement, concrete sidewalks, erosion control measures, embankment work, asphalt surface and binder courses, pavement markings, chain link fencing, landscape installation, hydroseeding, and sodding. The estimated quantities range from single lump-sum items to substantial quantities such as 5,150 square yards of crushed aggregate base course and 1,600 square yards of mineral aggregate base at 10-inch compacted thickness. Sealed bids were due no later than Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at 2:00 pm CST. Bidders were required to have visited the site and become familiar with local conditions, federal and state laws, and all subsurface and environmental data identified in the bidding documents.

Bidders were required to submit unit prices and total prices for all line items, with the base bid total including a 5 percent owner's contingency allowance. The additive alternates included additional asphalt work (950 square yards of base course, 105 tons each of surface and binder courses) and a three-year warranty for sanitary sewer connection. Bidders must submit supporting documentation including a bid bond, statement of qualifications, non-collusion affidavit, Iran Divestment Act compliance certification, corporate certificate, contractor's license certification, drug-free workplace affidavit, and attestation regarding personnel. Estimated quantities are not guaranteed and serve solely for bid comparison purposes, with final payment based on actual quantities as determined in the contract documents. The bidder's representations include acknowledgment of all contract documents, site conditions, applicable laws and regulations, and confirmation that no further examinations or investigations are necessary to complete the work.
