About this file

This document is a Bid Bond for the City of St. Petersburg, Florida, related to a solicitation for safety clothing and supplies. The City is seeking qualified vendors to provide safety clothing and related supplies on an as-needed basis, with annual estimated quantities that may vary over the contract term. Supplies will be delivered to the Consolidated Inventory Warehouse located at 327 17th St N, St. Petersburg, FL 33713.

The Bid Bond outlines standard procurement requirements, including a 5% bid guarantee and a commitment from the winning bidder to enter into a contract within 10 consecutive calendar days of award notification. The bond serves as financial protection for the City, ensuring that if the bidder is awarded the contract, they will follow through with contract execution and provide a performance bond equal to 100% of the bid amount. The document provides a legal mechanism to hold bidders financially accountable for their proposal and potential contract performance.
