About this file

This document is a Bid Amendment for a contract (EPA-FISCP-B-48733) involving a boat and trailer procurement, specifically for Lake Michigan, issued by the state of Illinois. The amendment appears to be a clarification document addressing vendor questions about technical specifications for a boat and trailer, referencing the Illinois Vehicle Code and detailing specific requirements for state procurement.

The bid amendment provides technical details about trailer width parameters, which must conform to Illinois Vehicle Code specifications (625 ILCS 5/15-102), and includes requirements for a rear deck crane with 500-pound capacity, electronic winch, and 150-200 feet of braided nylon line. The crane is specified to be mounted on the boat's sidewall with swivel capability. These specifications suggest this is a specialized marine equipment procurement, likely for a state agency or environmental management purpose, with precise technical requirements that potential vendors must carefully review and meet.
