About this file

This document is Bid Amendment 3 to Solicitation (RFP) #17DPP00049 for Laundry Rental Services on behalf of the New Jersey Department of Human Services (NJDHS) and the New Jersey Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMAVA). The original proposal submission due date of November 15, 2016 has been revised to November 22, 2016. The amendment provides answers to vendor questions, including clarification that personal clothing and comforters/quilts are patient-owned items and not part of the laundry rental program. The contract opportunity covers laundry rental services for multiple jurisdictions in New Jersey, including Mercer County and Trenton City.

The amendment does not include any details on pricing terms, set asides, incumbents, funding requirements, or other salient financial information. The focus is on responding to vendor inquiries and revising the proposal due date for this ongoing competitive solicitation for laundry rental services on behalf of the two state agencies.

2.2 3.8 Personal clothing and quilts are both listed as rental…is that correct?

If so, how are we to purchase personal clothing for every resident without complete information regarding personal preferences and sizing?

No. Please refer to the definition of “Personals” in Section 2.2 (Solicitation Specification Definitions). Personal clothing and comforters/quilts are patient-owned items and are not part of the laundry rental program.
