The current meal price is $1.83, with the contract specifying various requirements such as 3 milk servings per week, accommodation for religious diets, special holiday meals, and medical diet provisions for approximately 22 inmates. Vendor requirements include a 3-day orientation, annual physical examinations, TB tests, and potential random drug testing. The addendum also clarifies that no inmate workers will be provided, the detention center will be responsible for reusable trays, food carts, and disposables, and the contract prices are valid for two years without automatic CPI increases.
