The addendum provides clarifications and answers to potential bidders' questions about the upcoming contract, with the current contract held by Yellowstone Landscape – Southeast LLC at a value of $143,940.00.
The addendum addresses several key operational aspects of the grounds keeping services, including openness to innovative technology like robotic mowers, expectations for tree trimming, mulching, and edging. Specifically, the county indicates it will consider robotic mowers if they meet performance standards, expects a professional environment with no overgrowth for tree trimming and edging, and requires annual mulching of flower beds with mulch to be supplied by the contractor. The document suggests the county is seeking a comprehensive grounds maintenance solution that prioritizes professional appearance and potentially innovative approaches to landscaping.
