About this file
Addenda #1 for Putnam County's Bid 25-22 for Mowing and Grounds Keeping Services provides supplemental information for potential bidders. The document covers a procurement opportunity for landscape maintenance services, with the current contract held by Yellowstone Landscape – Southeast LLC at a value of $143,940.00. The addendum addresses specific questions about service expectations, including openness to innovative technologies like robotic mowers, tree trimming standards, mulching frequency, and overall grounds maintenance requirements.
The county seeks a grounds keeping contractor with flexibility in service delivery, emphasizing a professional maintenance environment with key specifications such as annual mulching of flower beds (mulch to be supplied by the contractor), tree trimming to prevent overgrowth, and edging to maintain a neat appearance. The addendum indicates the county is receptive to technological innovations like robotic mowers, provided they meet the same performance standards as traditional equipment. The document suggests the county is seeking a contractor capable of maintaining a high-quality, professional landscape appearance across its properties.
