About this file
The document is a set of responses to vendor questions regarding Bid 21-426DOC-CENTO-B-19766 for Medicaid Enrollment Services issued by the Illinois Department of Corrections (IDOC). The bid requests quotes for statewide Medicaid enrollment and consultation services, with vendors required to be on-site 1-2 days per week at IDOC facilities. The vendor will eventually take over the processing of Medicaid applications, assisting with both paper-based and computer-based enrollments. The estimated volume is 15,000-20,000 people per year across all IDOC facilities. The current process for inmates going to the hospital will remain the same, with Medicaid processed through the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services in Springfield.
The bid does not provide details on pricing terms, set asides, incumbent contractors, funding requirements or sources, or award amounts. The only salient information provided is that only electronic submissions will be accepted, and there is a pre-bid conference scheduled for January 26, 2021 at 1:30pm CST.
