About this file
This document is an Addendum #1 for Bid #1054 issued by the Town of Bristol, Rhode Island, for 2024-2025 Tree Planting Landscape Services. The addendum includes a revised Attachment A - Bid Form to correct a typo in the bid number reference and provides clarification in response to a prospective bidder's question. The bid specifically covers tree planting services, with the Town sourcing trees from a nursery and delivering them to a designated location for planting.
The addendum clarifies that Bid #1054 is exclusively for tree planting services, while a separate Bid #1053 covers tree sourcing and delivery. The document indicates that it is acceptable for a single company to submit bids for both tree sourcing and planting if they are capable of performing both functions. No specific pricing details, contract duration, or additional terms are provided in this addendum beyond the clarification of the service scope and the relationship between the two related bids.

ADDENDUM #1
• Revised Attachment A – Bid Form: to correct typo in Bid Form reference to bid number.
AND
• Answer to questions received from prospective bidders:
Question: After looking over the responsibilities of the contrac tor, it appears the vendor is responsible for the entire process of planting the trees except supplying the trees themselves? Please let me know if this is the case.
Answer: You are correct. Bid #1054 is for tree planting services. The trees will be sourced by the Town from a nursery and delivered to a location in town for planting. Bid #1053 is currently out for response and is for tree sourcing and delivery. It is ok for one company to submit bids for both if they can source and plant the trees.
