Re: Bureau of Engraving Design/Build a Cleanroom, Solicitation Number: BEP-RFP-11-0017
Dear Crystal, Below you will find some additional questions regarding the above referenced project.
1. Can you supply the specifications or cut sheets for the Glove box and Downdraft Table since these affect the HVAC design?
2. Where do you envision the 2000 CFM ventilation exiting the room and the building?
3. Does this single pass air get treated before it mixes with the outside atmosphere?
4. Have you considered the need for an air curtain at the door to buffer entering and leaving contamination?
5. The 18,000 BTUs does not match the room load for even 750 CFM pressurization air for this climate. Please advise.
6. Is the 750 CFM intended to be positive pressure within the room?
7. Is the concrete pad reinforced to code to support the weight of the structure?
Thank you for the opportunity to provide a proposal for this project and providing us with the tour of the location.
Best Regards, Robert Loontiens President
