About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for Solicitation #N6339426Q4059 addressing an Eaton UPS procurement and installation project.
The document clarifies four key operational and compliance requirements for the UPS replacement work. The contractor will have an 8-hour maintenance window to complete the temporary and new UPS swap-out. The existing battery room in Building 1524 will not provide backup power during the planned outage, as those batteries are dedicated exclusively to Local Vendor equipment and do not support critical building systems. The UPS maintenance must be performed after hours on the weekend to minimize operational impact on building activities. Davis Bacon prevailing wage requirements apply to this project, indicating it is a federal construction or service contract subject to prevailing wage compliance.
