About this file
This document is a Banking Questionnaire intended to evaluate the financial responsibility of a contractor who intends to bid on a federal contract opportunity with the Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP). The questionnaire requests information about the contractor's bank account, including the date the account was opened, the contractor's account status, credit standing, and average monthly balance. The contractor is required to have the bank representative complete and sign the questionnaire, which must be emailed directly to the BOP Contracting Officer by November 15, 2024.
The related federal contract opportunity is for the Repair of Powerhouse Boilers 2 & 3 at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Herlong in Herlong, California. The BOP is seeking a firm-fixed-price construction contract for this project, with an estimated magnitude between $250,000 and $500,000. The work includes rebuilding and repairing two hot water boilers in the Central Utility Plant. This is a 100% small business set-aside, with a NAICS code of 238220 and a corresponding size standard of $19 million. A pre-bid conference and site visit is scheduled for October 29, 2024, and bids must be submitted electronically through the JEFS app box.
