About this file
This is a specification sheet for a Collapsible Tactical Inspection Camera Kit procurement by the Illinois State Police Special Operations Command. The agency is seeking to acquire four complete tactical inspection camera systems designed for tactical operators, bomb technicians, and crisis response teams. Each kit shall include a telescoping pole camera capable of extending to a minimum of 1.75 meters and collapsing to 18 inches or less, an under-door camera with four independent cameras providing 360-degree coverage, a handheld display monitor with dual-view capability for visible and thermal/low-light observation, and a hard transport case with protective foam. The system must support both visible-light and thermal or low-light observation capabilities and enable operators to safely view and record video from concealed or obstructed areas during high-risk operations. No specific response dates, due dates, site visits, or bidder meetings are identified in this specification document.
The specification requires vendors to provide comprehensive technical capabilities including dual-sensor camera configuration, water- and dust-resistant construction, onboard digital recording to removable storage media, encrypted wireless video transmission with AES-128 encryption minimum, and a minimum two-hour battery runtime for continuous operation. The vendor must deliver training consisting of a minimum of four hours for up to six personnel on site in Springfield, Illinois, and provide a minimum one-year warranty covering manufacturer defects and hardware failures. Deliverables for each kit include two rechargeable batteries, one 32 GB removable storage card, charging accessories, user documentation, and a transport case. The specification does not identify pricing terms, set-asides, incumbent contractors, funding sources, or contract term duration.
