About this file

This document contains the specifications for various fyke and gill net designs for use in Illinois fish population assessments by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR). It details the dimensions, materials, and configurations for 1.5-inch mesh trap nets (4x6 frame with 50-foot lead), 1.0-inch mesh trap nets (4x6 frame with 50-foot lead), 0.5-inch mesh trap nets (3x6 frame with 50-foot lead), a 48-inch fiberglass hoop net, and an experimental 125-foot gill net with 5 panels of varying mesh sizes from 0.5 to 2.5 inches. The requested items are to be produced to the specified standards and provided to the IDNR. This contract opportunity is open to suppliers in the state of Illinois, specifically in the jurisdiction of Mason County.

Pricing terms, set-asides, and funding details are not provided in the document. However, it indicates this contract is part of the IDNR's fisheries assessment program, implying the nets will be used for ongoing monitoring and research activities funded through the department's budget.
