About this file
This Office Automation Form documents equipment and service requirements for a City of Philadelphia procurement through PHLContracts for Apple iPad and related warranty services. The procurement specifies that all deliveries must be inside deliveries to a loading dock, with vendors required to provide installation, configuration, and debris removal services. The city requests product literature at its discretion. The vendor must configure products at the city's location and has indicated acceptance of refurbished equipment. Training and instruction by the vendor are requested as part of the deliverables.
The warranty structure requires extended coverage beyond basic manufacturer warranties, with minimum periods of five years for servers and IT appliances, four years for PCs and laptops, and three years for tablets. All warranty coverage begins after a 30 to 120-day acceptance period. On-site maintenance is required with next-day response time within 24 hours, including all parts and labor, with payment due after equipment delivery and city acceptance. The city offers maintenance options including 3-Year and 5-Year service level agreements. Vendor selection indicates acceptance of the Apple platform with specific equipment and warranty provisions identified for two vendor options, with training and equipment configurations specified accordingly.
