BLM-AK/Alaska Fire Service, Ft. Wainwright, AK has a requirement for a commercial item or service. This combined synopsis/solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 (as supplemented with additional information included in this notice). This posting will be referred to under Request for Quotation (RFQ) Number 140L0225Q0010. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A written solicitation will be issued and attached to this posting for reference only. This RFQ falls under procedures in FAR Parts 12 and 13. This document incorporates provisions and clauses updated by way of the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) #2025-04, effective June 11th, 2025. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) number is 238390, Other Building Finishing Contractors and the business size standard is $19.0 million. This announcement constitutes the Government's only official notice of this procurement. The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this synopsis.

The Alaska Fire Service requests space modification in support of the newly merged Galena and Upper Yukon Tanana Dispatch (UYT) Centers.

Please submit your quote on the attached SF-1449 or company letterhead with all pertinent point of contact information including SAM, Cage Code, Unique Entity ID, and business size/type. In addition, your quote should provide unit price and total price. No formal format is required as this is a combined synopsis/request for quote solicitation. Offers must be received by 4:00 pm Alaska Daylight Savings Time, 08/28/2025, at the BLM-AK/Alaska Fire Service, 1544 Gaffney Rd, Ft. Wainwright, AK. Offers received after this date and time will be considered non-responsive in accordance with 52.212-1(f) and will not be evaluated. A Firm-Fixed Price quote will be needed for this requirement. BLM/AFS anticipates a single purchase order award will be made to the responsible vendor who participates in the site visit, provides the lowest priced, technically acceptable (LPTA), and can provide current certifications and licenses. Quotes are to be emailed to BLM_AK_AFS_Procurement@blm.gov.

All interested parties will be required to conduct a site inspection. This allows the potential contractor to fully understand the task and the conditions under which the work will be conducted and satisfy themselves regarding general and local conditions that may affect contract performance.

Site visit will take place on 12 August 2025 at 1:00 P.M. Coordinate with Tim O'Brien for Base Access 2 days prior, 907-356-5725. Questions will be submitted No Later Than 18 August 2025, 12:00 P.M AST. Answers will be posted NLT 22 August 2025.

Offerors must comply with all instructions contained in the Internet Payment Platform (IPP) DOI Electronic Invoicing instructions, and all clauses in the attached solicitation documentation.

Work will be coordinated to be completed during the down season to limit impact on personnel that require the use of the network. Period of Performance to be coordinated is withing 1 September 2025 and 28 February 2026.

In order to have a quote considered, all offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) website (https://www.sam.gov) as an active vendor by the closing date of this solicitation. Quotes received from firms not registered in SAM by the closing date of the solicitation will not be considered.
