About this file
This Statement of Work (SOW) details a comprehensive electrical and pump system upgrade for the U.S. Geological Survey's Columbia Environmental Research Center (CERC) in Missouri. The project requires removing the existing 10 hp centrifugal pump and installing two redundant inverter-duty centrifugal pumps with a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD), including digital flow meters and pressure gauges with BACnet capabilities. Technical specifications mandate pumps capable of 120-200 feet of head, flowing 200 gallons per minute, with new piping featuring a bypass and ensuring easy maintenance access.
The solicitation (140G0125Q0186) is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside with a project magnitude between $100,000-$250,000, scheduled for a 30-day performance period after notice to proceed. Key dates include a mandatory site visit on August 7, 2025, and quote submission deadline of August 14, 2025, at 10:00 am PST, with an anticipated contract award on August 22, 2025. Vendors must be registered in SAM.gov, and quotes should be emailed to specified USGS contacts. The project falls under NAICS Code 333914 with a size standard of 750 employees, targeting small business contractors for this pump system modernization effort.
