About this file
This is a Statement of Work for the Department of the Interior, Bureau of Land Management (BLM) to repair five Utility Terrain Vehicles (UTVs): four 2015 Polaris Ranger 900 XP models and one 2018 Polaris RZR 900 model. The contractor must perform all repairs at their own facility within thirty miles of the BLM Vale District Office in Vale, Oregon, with a period of performance of three months from contract award. The contractor is responsible for providing all labor, supplies, supervision, materials, equipment, and transportation, and must ensure all subcontractors meet identical requirements.
The repairs encompass vehicle-specific work detailed for each of the five vehicles, including component replacements (batteries, axles, A-arms, clutches, steering racks, propeller shafts, differentials), maintenance services per manufacturer specifications, radiator cleaning, and tire replacements with 8-ply rated Polaris-approved tires. All repairs must comply with OEM guidance, maintain strict workmanship standards regarding cleanliness, weld quality, fastener specifications, and dissimilar metal contact prevention. The contractor must warrant all services and deliver vehicles free from defects in workmanship and materials. Final inspections will be conducted by the Government at the contractor's facility upon email notification with photographic evidence of completion, and any deficient items identified must be corrected prior to acceptance. The contractor must be properly licensed and responsible for all necessary permits.
