About this file
This file is Attachment 1 to a federal contract solicitation, containing photographs and dimensional diagrams of the current seabird theater exhibit at a visitor center facility.
The seabird theater is an immersive display space featuring three independent projectors that project onto wall-mounted screens. The exhibit measures approximately 109" to 117" in width and 18" to 24" in depth, with an entrance located at 18" from one corner. The space is currently very dark, and the originally scheduled color lighting system is non-functional. The theater is accessed through an adjacent exhibit (orange star on the layout diagram), and the behind-the-scenes area contains projectors, mylar mirrors, storage, equipment controlling other visitor center exhibits, and an electrical panel (blue star) that requires clear access space. The behind-the-scenes area will be expanded as part of the project scope. Current electronics running all visitor center exhibits are located in this back area and will need to be physically relocated 5-10 feet but not permanently removed. Photographs document the entrance, projection screens, display rocks/formations, and the behind-scenes infrastructure including the equipment rack, electrical panel, and mirror systems. The facility layout diagram provides approximate dimensions and clearly marks the locations of the electrical panel and current access point for maintenance purposes.
