Work will be performed in accordance with an attached Statement of Work. The mandatory site inspection is scheduled for Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at 9:00 AM (CT) at the Visitor's Center, and all interested parties must RSVP by Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at 3:00 PM EST to Christopher D. Parker at Christopher_Parker@nps.gov or 479-597-0901. No individual site inspections will be conducted. All questions must be submitted electronically in writing to the Contracting Officer, Edward Dingle, at edward_dingle@ios.doi.gov no later than 1:00 PM (EDT) on Friday, August 7, 2026. No telephonic questions will be accepted, and only written answers provided to all offerors will constitute the Government's official response. Attendance at the site inspection is considered vital for preparing competitive and cost-effective proposals, and failure to attend may not be used as justification for omissions or miscalculations in bids.

SITE VISIT INFORMATION

The National Park Service invites you to attend a site inspection to provide all material, labor, and supervision for the removal of Overgrowth of Vegetation from Roadsides to Mitigate Potential Safety Hazards Roadside trimming on six of Mammoth Caves roads entails the removal (trimming and brushing) of overgrown, encroaching, brush and vegetation. The work will be accomplished on Mammoth Cave Parkway (6 miles), Green River Ferry Road south (2 miles), Brownsville Road, Rt 015(4 miles), Flint Ridge Road, Rt 101(4 miles), Park Ridge Road, Rt 106(4 miles) and Cave City Road, Rt 016 (3 miles) for Mammoth Cave National Park Mammoth Cave, Kentucky in accordance with the attached statement of work (SOW) for Mammoth Cave National Park Mammoth Cave, Kentucky. The Site Visit will be held at the time and place listed below:

The purpose of this inspection is for interested parties to ascertain the local conditions at the location, which could materially affect conduct of operations and the cost thereof. All questions must be formally submitted electronically in writing to the Contracting Officer at the email address below NO

LATER THAN 1:00pm (EDT) on Friday August 07, 2026 (No telephonic questions will be accepted). A summary of questions and answers arising from the site inspection and/or review of the package will be provided to all prospective contractors as an amendment to the solicitation. Only those written answers provided to all offerors will be the Government's official response to questions.

Information provided at this site visit shall not qualify the terms and conditions of the solicitation and specifications. No oral questions will be accepted. Terms of the solicitation and specifications remain unchanged unless the solicitation is amended in writing. If an amendment is issued, normal procedures relating to the acknowledgment and receipt of solicitation amendments shall apply.

We consider attendance at this site inspection vital to the preparation of a competitive and cost-effective quote, and to understand the total desired result by the Government. Failure to attend this inspection may not be used as an justification for omissions or miscalculations in technical or price proposals/quotes. It is again emphasized that it is most advantageous for each interested party to have qualified representation at the site inspection. Coordination for attending the site visit shall be made through the site visit point of contact listed below. *NO individual site inspections shall be offered nor conducted.
