MEMORANDUM FOR: 9th Mission Support Command
SUBJECT: Lodging Purchase Description
1. Single personnel shall be lodged one (1) to each hotel Guestroom. Double occupancy may be arranged for two (2) personnel per guestroom as needed. Rooms provided shall contain the following minimum furnishings, supplies and features:
a. One with high quality mattress at least 100 centimeters wide and 200 centimeters long.
b. Desk Chair.
c. Combination desk/dresser or both.
d. Dresser Mirror.
e. Bedside table; with suitable power supply.
f. Television, not less than 14" screen.
g. WiFi
h. Telephone in room with 24-hour service.
i. One sterilized glass for each individual, tray and ice container.
j. Mini refrigerator
k. Wastebasket.
l. Four clothes hangers and adequate closet space for hanging clothes.
m. Fresh potable water (chlorinated to no less than 0.1 ppm) shall be provided to all occupants in their rooms. The maximum required daily amount should be approximately one (1) liter per room.
n. Sufficient heating and cooling devices to maintain a temperature of not less than
68 degrees F (20 degree C) not more than 78 degrees F (26 degrees C).

2. Bathrooms shall contain the following minimum furnishings and supplies:
a. Two bath towels, one hand towel, one wash cloth, a bath mat, minimum of two rolls of toilet tissue, and one packet of soap for each individual daily. Bath towels, hand towels and washcloths shall not be worn nor thin in texture and shall be changed daily.
b. Lavatory/Sink.
c. Commode (only a western style fixture is acceptable).
d. Mirror over vanity or over the washbasin in the lavatory.
e. Bathtub or shower.
f. Shower Curtain or glass enclosed shower area
g. Tub mat, safety strips or built-in slip-resistant tubs.
h. Adequate toilet tissue.
i. Adequate 110V outlets or 2000 watt transformers for electric razor and hair dryer.
3. Bathrooms provided shall meet the following minimum:
a. Each fixture shall have stops for the sink/tub drains.
b. Sufficient hot water for bathing shall be available.
c. Sufficient lighting with a separate switch for the bathroom.
d. The sink may be located outside the enclosed bathroom space (which contains the tub, shower, and commode) such as in a small anteroom to the bathroom, which is separate from the sleeping area. However, sinks located so that they are a part of the sleeping area are not acceptable. The general construction of the bathroom area must be such that normal sound, light, odor, or moisture cannot readily enter the sleeping area when the bathroom door is closed. Windows located in the bathroom must be sufficiently opaque (or covered with appropriate blinds or drapes) to provide complete privacy for the bathroom occupant.
4. Furniture and fixtures in guest rooms, including bathrooms and foyers shall be clean and not contain noticeable cigarette burns, cuts or tears. No item of furniture shall be considered satisfactory if it is broken or damaged.
