Response to SF-308 Request for Davis-Bacon Project Wage Determination

Project Wage Decision Number: 2023-CA-17016 308 4/21/2023 State: California

County: Marin County

Construction Type: Water Well

Agency: National Park Service

Contract Number: 140P8423Q0055

Project Name: Point Reyes National Seashore, Marin County, California

Description of Work (as clarified):

There are normally two or three employees. They start with one employee as the well driller and one to two helpers who in the industry are known as "chuck tenders". Drill rod is added to the drill string every 20 feet by the chuck tenders until they hit water. They then place grout seal around the hole. They are handling a Pneumatic pump that pushes the grout down the hole.

Once water is found, a pump installer places the pump in the drill hole and performs a series of tests.

Once the pump installation is complete, the well head is sealed.
