The DX Ranch House requires the most extensive work, involving removal and disposal of two existing furnaces, evaporator coils, and outdoor units, followed by installation of two high-efficiency forced-air furnaces (approximately 100,000 BTU each), two matched vertical-configuration evaporator coils, two high-efficiency heat pump/condenser units (minimum 16 SEER, approximately 12,000 BTU capacity each), two smart thermostats with remote monitoring and integration capabilities, new insulated duct systems (minimum R-8 insulation), copper refrigerant line sets with liquid-line filter drier, and complete system commissioning.
All work across the three systems must comply with California Title 24 Energy Efficiency Standards, California Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Codes, ACCA Manual J and Manual D design requirements, and EPA refrigerant-handling regulations. Systems must be tested and monitored for a minimum of 15 minutes to ensure maximum efficiency. Minimum warranty requirements include 10 years parts and 1 year labor (with 20 years on heat exchangers, 10 years on A/C compressors, 5 years on thermostats, and 1 year on safety floats).
