Register of Wage Determinations Under the Service Contract Act
This document is a wage determination register issued by the U.S. Department of Labor Employment Standards Administration Wage and Hour Division for Wisconsin Counties of La Crosse under Service Contract Act (SCA) prevailing wage requirements. The wage determination (No. 2015-4943, Revision 33, effective August 22, 2026) establishes mandatory minimum wage rates, fringe benefits, and working condition standards for all service contract employees performing work in the specified geographic area.
The register lists over 200 occupation classifications across multiple occupational categories including administrative support, automotive service, food preparation, furniture maintenance, general services, health occupations, information technology, instructional services, laundry and dry cleaning, materials handling, mechanics and maintenance, personal needs services, plant operations, protective services, recreation, stevedoring, technical services, and transportation. Each occupation code includes a corresponding prevailing wage rate ranging from $12.87 to $60.59 per hour. All listed occupations are entitled to health and welfare benefits of $5.92 per hour (up to 40 hours per week or $236.80 weekly) or $5.42 per hour under Executive Order 13786 ($216.80 weekly). Employees receive a minimum of two weeks paid vacation after one year of service, three weeks after eight years, and four weeks after fifteen years, plus eleven paid holidays annually. Special provisions apply to exempt computer professionals, air traffic controllers, weather observers (who receive night pay and Sunday differentials of 25 percent), hazardous materials handlers (8 percent differential), and employees requiring uniforms. Conformance requests for unlisted occupations must be submitted on SF-1444 forms following established procedures requiring contractor initiation, Department of Labor review, and written determination within 30 days.
