16. Description: The US Army Corps of Engineers, Huntington District intends to procure a contract for repairs to a levee system. The award of one (1) firm-fixed price construction contract is anticipated.

This project is located in Tuscarawas County, OH. The levee surrounds the Village of Zoar, which is a National Historic Landmark. Zoar Levee is founded on pervious, glacial outwash soils, which has led to this and previous seepage related remediation work completed since the levee’s construction in 1937. The work will consist of installing internal erosion interceptor trench, extending manholes, vibration monitoring, and the disposal of excess soils. Period of performance shall not exceed June 2022.

An organized site visit will not be conducted, but bidders are encouraged to conduct them (on an individual basis due to COVID19 guidelines). See solicitation for full details. The contract will be awarded to the lowest price bidder found to be responsive and responsible. This procurement is total small business set-aside. The NAICS code for this procurement is 237990, which has a size standard of $39.5 million average annual receipts. Solicitation documents will be available on or about 06 July 2020 and can be downloaded at www.beta.sam.gov.Bidders shall submit all documents electronically through DOD SAFE. No paper copies, CD, DVD, thumb drives, email, or facsimile will be accepted. To be eligible for award, a firm must be resisted in System for Award Management (SAM). Register via the http://www.beta.sam.gov/
