About this file

This is an Addendum Memorandum issued by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) on June 1, 2026, for Solicitation Package B-52534 regarding the rehabilitation of the Pearl Street Pedestrian Bridge crossing the Illinois & Michigan Canal in Marseilles, Illinois. The addendum clarifies acceptable materials for the project, specifying that IDNR will accept any one of three types of wood for construction: Pressure-Treated Southern Yellow Pine (originally specified in the bid set), Douglas Fir-Larch, or White Oak. The selection of the lowest responsive bidder will proceed without preference given to the type of wood proposed, meaning all three wood options are equally acceptable for evaluation purposes.

No additional pricing, timeline, quantities, or contract term information is provided in this addendum. Prospective bidders requiring further clarification should contact Kara Glaub at kara.m.glaub@illinois.gov or (217) 557-1235.
