About this file

Addendum 2 for the Manatee Hammock Fishing Pier Renovation project is issued by Brevard County Purchasing Services on March 13, 2025, for bid number B-4-25-44. The addendum provides clarification on several key project details, including the elimination of the previously required Public Construction Bond and specifying exact quantities of materials needed for renovation: 31 4x4 posts at 50½" long, 10 4x4 posts at 40½" long, and 26 total 2x6 end caps of varying lengths. The bid opening date remains Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at 10:00 AM, with no changes to other terms and conditions.

The addendum addresses two specific vendor questions, confirming that DSS Lumber conforming to AWPA Use Category UC4B is acceptable for items 2 and 3, and noting that Brevard County Risk Management recommends vendors consult their insurance brokers regarding potential Longshoreman Insurance requirements for work on a navigable waterway. No specific pricing details or funding sources are mentioned in this addendum, which primarily serves to provide technical clarifications and procedural guidance for potential bidders on the fishing pier renovation project.
