Questions and Answers
1
Question

Step 3 Underwear Bag. A bag that is preprinted at the top (……Fold…..) would be a custom print bag. The min order would exceed 25,000 bags & would be more expensive. Most Underwear bag are a standard bag with a label as pictured in the bid packet. It’s possible to increase the length of the label & include the that working on the label. Is that acceptable?

Answer

If the ask is that the label be increased to include the wording on where to fold the bag, this is acceptable.

2
Question

Kit Box/Sequential Number/K Number. As it is laid out now the sequential number & K number are on opposite side sides. When kits are being scanned its safer to be able to see the sequential number & K number on the same side. This way you can easily confirm when scanning the numbers match. Can the layout be altered?

Answer

Yes, this is acceptable.

3
Question

Forms/Envelopes – Some contain red, blue, or green print. Two color print forms cost more that standard black & white. May all the forms/envelopes be printed black?

Answer

On the forms or envelopes that is currently in color can be black however it would need to be bolded.

4
Question

Is a bid sample due at the time of the open or will it be requested of the low bidder after the bid opening?

Answer

In the IFB at the bottom of section 1.2:

Upon bid award, the awarded vendor will be contacted to provide a sample/prototype kit, within a reasonable timeframe, prior to contract execution. If the awarded vendor fails to provide sample/prototype kit within a reasonable timeframe, they will then be disqualified from consideration for the award.
