IfYES: We have using this vendor for the past 12 months and have had absolutely no negative remarks against them. They are very accommodating. Productivity is above average and pricing has been better than anyone else. Price is still below big online catalog markets.
TextField3: Quartz white, stone gray, bronze, or black, 9" or 12", white dial slimline, wall mounted, shatterproof, crystal black numbers, red second hand. AA batteries required. Digital atomic clock with time down to the tenth, date, and battery operated. Can be wall mounted or used on a desktop.
TextField4: Buyer, Terry Thomas, has provided a price analysis with identical or comparable clocks from big supply companies, Grainger and Logsdon Office Supply, to determine if the State is getting the best priced offered. Each line items showed a savings against the three big supply companies. The State of Illinois is getting their best price.
TextField5: State agencies have long been accustomed to the analog clocks seen in many state owned facilities. This contract allows us to keep uniformity throughout the state while saving money versus other commercial manufacturers. With the addition of nice digital clocks for workspaces and a traditional clock with the State of Illinois flag on the face, will create more options for the agencies. We also can continue to use the hard working individuals from a State Use vendor that employs people who are legally blind.
TextField6: Chicago Lighthouse Industries has been a long time vendor of the State of Illinois and as part of our State Use program. They employ roughly 50 individuals who are legally blind. The Bureau of Strategic Sourcing has a good business relationship with the vendor and the productivity is timely and allows the State to save money.
